Aha Moment Monday

Reading time 31 seconds (plus another 31 seconds of possibility thinking)

There are good surprises and bad surprises then there are planned surprises. Planned surprises, like rewards or loyalty programs.

There’s the “if…then” rewards: If you do this, then you’ll get that.
They’re great for monitoring consumer behaviour, tracking patterns and rewarding loyalty.
But they’re anticipated surprises like asking for a compliment.
You know you’ll get some kind of response, you’re just not entirely sure what that response might look like)

But aha! What if you gave someone a token of appreciation without them expecting it? It’s a planned surprise on your part (you’re on the watch for extraordinary behaviour) and a really good surprise on theirs!!

Oh just think of the possibilities!!!
